LITTLE - Dorothy M. "Dot" (Burkhart), 79, Mundys Corner, went to be reunited with her beloved husband William "Doll" on May 22, 2010. Born December 4, 1930 in Mundys Corner, daughter of the late Leroy and Laura (Schoop) Burkhart. Preceded in death by sister Mary Jane Newcomer, brothers George, Samuel, and William. Dot will be sadly missed by her children: Roy, married to the Betty (Buck); William III, married to Karen (Stopchick); Lois; Donald; Lynn, wife of Albert Waskovich; and grandchildren: Roy Little Jr.; Jennifer, wife of Jason Gillin; Nicole Little; Michelle, wife of Donald Yeager; Billi Jo Little; Jessica and Becky Waskovich; great-grandchildren: Matthew and Ethan Gillin; Darron and Valon Koss; and Baby Yeager, due in August. Also survived by sister Alma Burkhart, brothers-in-law Dean and James Little, sister-in-law Irene Little and numerous nieces and nephews. Dot was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, flea markets and cooking for her family. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, with whom she spent countless hours sharing family stories and making precious memories. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. John H. Snyder, officiating. Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
