LIEB - Helen Isabelle, 86, Ebensburg, died Aug. 16, 2006, at Laurel Crest. Born July 9, 1920, in Nicktown, daughter of Albert and Bertha (Marsh) Lieb. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Fred; and sisters, Olene Cahill, Louise Chapman and Mary Cox. Survived by nephews and nieces, James, and wife, Miriam Cahill; Jerry, and wife, Shannon Cox; Jeanne, and husband, Gary Bazzell; Don, and wife, Claudia Chapman; and Daphine Chapman and special friend, Nancy Eckenrod Lenz. Formerly emloyed at Bishop Carroll High School, Ebensburg Borough office and U.S. Bank. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake service will be held Friday evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, Monsignor Arnold L. Gaus. Committal, Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg.
