HERESCO - George, age 72, Westwold, British Columbia, Canada, formerly of Colver, died Aug. 19, 2006, in Vernon, British Columbia. Born April 5, 1934, in Smokerun, son of John and Anna (Zolock) Heresco. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Alice Trovato, and infant sister, Gloria; and brother, John. Survived by wife, Dawne of Westwold, and daughter, Marlo Heresco, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Brother of Steve, Cresson; Evelyn Wainwright, Mesa, Ariz.; and Joanie Ledbetter, Plano, Texas. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where Parastas will be sung at 7 p.m. Brief services at the funeral home at 9 a.m. Saturday, followed by funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Protection of BVM Ukrainian Catholic Church, Revloc, the Rev. Andrew Krasulski. Committal, Mount Hermon Cemetery, Colver.
