Davis, Betty Jane, 84, Allie Buck Road, Nanty Glo, died December 7, 2004 at home. Born September 7, 1920 in White Twp., daughter of the late Geraldine Gertrude (Giles-Evans) Evans. Preceded in death by husband, Willis C. Davis; grandson Mark Straw; aunt Ruth "Tip" Strong; half-brother Dean Evans and half-sister Dorothy Shandrowski. Survived by children: Shirley Straw, Phoeniz, Arizona, and her children: Wanda, Debbie & Scott; Jane Ann, wife of Thomas Allison, Nanty Glo and their son, Thomas, married to the former Linda Illig, of Jonestown;
Willis P., married to the former Roxann Keilman, Middletown, Maryland, and their children
Paula, Robin and Paul; and great-grandchildren Justin, Jason, & Tyler; and close friend Andrew
Schilling, Ebensburg. Member of Ebensburg First Christian Church (Disciples). Friends will be
received from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Thursday, at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m., Friday, at the Ebensburg First Christian Church, the Rev. Dr.
Frank Brosius, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. Contributions in Betty?s memory may be made to the Ebensburg Area Ambulance Association or the Ebensburg First
Christian Church.
