ZANOVIAK - William J., age 65, Manor Drive, Ebensburg, formerly of Nanty Glo, died Sept. 1, 2006, at Laurel Crest. Born June 2, 1941, in Nanty Glo, son of Joseph and Tillie (Baliga) Zanoviak. Preceded in death by father; an infant brother, Joseph; and brother, Peter; brothers-in-law, William Cherry and Nelson Lightcap. Survived by mother, Ebensburg; sisters, Stella Cherry, Dilltown; Dorothy Lightcap, Nanty Glo; and Cynthia, wife of Anthony Perott, Ebensburg. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and special friend, Helen Lasinsky, Nanty Glo. Army veteran, having served in Germany. Retired from C and I Railroad, Colver. No public viewing or visitation. Family will receive friends for a memorial visitation from 6 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, Elder Harold Swanson officiating.
