Preceded in death by parents; husband, Theodore Peduzzi, who passed away Oct. 7, 1991; an infant brother; a brother, Paul Hajzus; sister, Mary Lechak; and great-granddaughter, Meghan Peduzzi. Ann loved the children at Holy Name School, serving as chairwoman of the cafeteria, which originated in 1960 until her retirement in 1985. She was past Grand Regent of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court 680. Member of VFW auxiliary and Italian Heritage Society. Last surviving member of the Pinochle Club she started in 1935. Ann also loved to play bingo at Holy Name and attend the Senior Center in Ebensburg. Ann loved this community, having moved to Ebensburg 76 years ago, and was honored when asked to cook for the men of the Dauntless Fire Company, which she considered a special privilege. She graduated from St. Mary's School in Nanty Glo before moving to Colver and considered herself a native of all three communities. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake service will be held Monday afternoon. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, Monsignor Arnold L. Gaus. Committal, Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg. Catholic Daughters of the Americas will hold Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. We ask that since Ann had such a special love for the children of Holy Name School, that friends may contribute to Holy Name School Angel Fund or to Dauntless Fire Company in Anna's memory.
