VARNER - Charles R. Sr., 55, Nanty Glo, died Nov. 8, 2006, at home. Born March 24, 1951, in Johnstown, son of late Robert and Bertha (Norton) Varner. Survived by children, Marshell and Charles Jr.; two grandchildren; sister, Gowitha Loujean Hanzek, Johnstown; brothers, Robert David and Paul Anthony, both of Altoona; loving companion, Elaine Bowser, Nanty Glo; nephews, Frank Robert Hanzek, Walter Joseph Hanzek, Ronald and Allen Mountain; and great-nephew, James Robert Hartman; and great-nieces, Ashley Jean Hanzek and Mable Hartman. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 Thursday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Deacon James Janosick. Interment, UB Cemetery Belsano.
