LUCAS - Stanley J., 86, Homer City, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 5, 1920, in Luciusboro, son of John and Anna Klim Lucas. Member of St. Louis Roman Catholic Church. Employed by R&P Coal Corp. for 14 years and later retired from FMC Corp., Homer City, in 1985 after 30 years of service. Life member of Moose Lodge 174, Indiana. Survived by wife, Anna Mae (Lazarowicz) Lucas, Homer City; three sons, Stanley A., and wife, Peggy, Homer City; Raymond A., and wife, Cindy, Ebensburg; and Bob M., and wife, Diane, Indiana; seven grandchildren; and one brother, Michael Lucas, Rock Creek, Ohio. Preceded in death by parents; five brothers, Walter, Frank, John, Louis and Joseph; and two sisters, Nellie Pass and Mary Kmets. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home Inc., Homer City, where vigil service will be recited at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. A blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Lucernemines, the Rev. Msgr. Larry Kiniry, celebrant. Committal, church cemetery.
