ARMANINI - Louis, 89, Buena, N.J., formerly of Vintondale, died Dec. 17, 2006, at home. Born Dec. 4, 1917, in Wherum, son the late Agabito and Maria (Contrini) Armanini. Preceded in death by brother, Dominic, and sisters, Julia Lombardo, Lena Tumasso and Irene. Survived by wife of 61 years, the former Mary Pierwola; children, Rose Lewis (Ken), Landisville, N.J.; Kathryn Cavllero (Jack), Vineland, N.J.; Robert (Linda), Pittsgrove, N.J.; Louis (Lyn) and David (Esther); both of Landisville, N.J.; 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Last member of his immediate family. A World War II Army veteran; he served in the Military Police. He worked as a coal miner in the Vintondale and Colver area. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Funeral and committal service were held in Vineland, N.J.
