Obituary of Jane M. Murray

Murray - Jane M. (Flinn), of Lovell Avenue, Ebensburg, and formerly of Mobile, Alabama, passed away January 13, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center. Born in Mobile, daughter of the late William P., Jr., and Helen (Greer) Flinn. Jane is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Wesley W. Murray II, at home and daughter Lisa MacDonald, a resident of the Ebensburg Center. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins in the Flinn and Greer families. Formerly employed as a secretary for the United Auto Workers and assistant business manager at Oxford Hospital in Philadelphia. Jane was a founding member of the Ebensburg Center Parent's Association where she served in numerous posts as well as a board member of the Center's Human Rights Committee. Also a member of the Greater Johnstown Retired Men's Club and a former volunteer for the American Red Cross Blood Mobile. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg., the Rev. Roger Johnson, officiating. The family will gather friends from 12:00 noon until the time of services at the funeral home. Interment at Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jane's memory may be made to the Ebensburg Center Recreation Department, 4501 Admiral Peary Highway, Ebensburg, Pa. 15931
