Stephens - R. June (Stiffler), 85, of Jackson Twp., died February 10, 2007 at Country Manor, Sidman. Born June 4, 1921 in Clune, daughter of the late Verner and Florence (Rummel) Stiffler. Preceded in death by husband, Robert Stephens, three brothers and three sisters. Survived by sons: Robert L. ýLeeý Stephens, Mundys Corner; Benjamin and wife Linda, Arkansas, and Thomas S. and wife Mary Frances, of Allabama; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters: Mary Catherine Morris, Florida; Anna Mae Reese, Massachusetts; and sister-in-law Lois Stiffler, of Beaver Falls. Former secretary for the Jackson Twp. Municipal Office for 27 years. Former President of the Local P.T.A. and secretary for the County Level P.T.A. June served as a member, former chairman, and secretary of the Twp. Planning Commission and former President of the Hammond Organ Society in Johnstown for 7 years. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where a funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, the Rev. Dr. Rick Clark, officiating. Interment at Pike Brethren Cemetery, Mundys Corner.
