BUCKUS - Dr. Patrick J., 62, Ebensburg, died Feb. 23, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Sept. 9, 1944, in Johnstown, son of Joseph and Greta (Dishart) Buckus. Preceded in death by father. Survived by mother, Greta Buckus-McNelis, Ebensburg; wife, the former Anita Torrez; these stepchildren, Sergio Valadez and Eric Valadez, both of California, and Sgt. Gabriel Valadez, Louisiana; and grandchildren, Iris and Kross Valadez. Brother of Jeannie Kolberg, Monroeville, and niece, Kristin Kolberg, Hellertown. Employed by Windber Hospice as a counselor, former head of the special education department in the California area. Family will receive friends from 10 until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Matevish & Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, the Rev. David McGee. Committal, Holy Name Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Windber Hospice in Dr. Pat's memory.
