KLINE - Ruth (Riddle), 91, Ebensburg, passed away March 17, 2007, at Laurel Crest Manor. Born Nov. 26, 1915, in New Washington, Pa., daughter of the late William Gallaher and Hattie (McCracken) Riddle. Preceded in death by first husband, James Samuel Davis; second husband, Warren Benshoff; sister, Madeline Mathews; brothers, Roy and Max; and a granddaughter, Ruth Irene (Davis) Schmidt. Survived by husband of 20 years, Harold Kline; and her son, the Rev. T. William (Bessie) Davis, of Perkasie, Pa.; her grandson, James A. (Willa) Davis, along with two great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Lovell and Grace Honor, all of Iowa; and grandson T. William (Kay) Davis Jr., Green Lane, Pa.; along with Harold's family: Nancy (Eugene) Bowers, William (Barbara) Kline, Judy (Ed) Biskner, all of Ohio; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also survived by stepdaughter, Barbara Rohrbaugh, Johnstown. Retired from Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital, Johnstown, where she served as a housemother in the nurse's residence for 16 years. Former member of the Farm Women's Society of Ebensburg. Member of Colver Prebyterian Church, where she was active in the Women's Circle. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Stanley Bhasker and the Rev. T. William Davis officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory may be made to Ascera Hospice of Altoona or Colver Presbyterian Church.
