BROWN – Faye R., 81, of Blacklick Twp. went to be with the Lord March 26, 2019. Born April 17, 1937, in Belsano, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Glenn and Romain Catherine (Tucker) Brown. She is survived by daughter, Sharie Kline-Brown, grandchildren, Ethan and Kyle, and sisters, LoLeda Stone and Sharon, wife of Ken Swanhart. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Faye was a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church of Nanty Glo, a former English teacher with Berlin Brothersvalley High School, and a retired guidance counselor from Central Cambria High School. Faye was also an active sponsor of Youth for Understanding, an international exchange student program and a foster parent with Children and Youth Services of Cambria County. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. on Friday at the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church of Nanty Glo. The Rev. Russell Havener and the Rev. Carl Schmidt will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations in Faye’s memory may be made to The Parkinson’s Foundation. Arrangements are in the care of Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
