REESE - Dr. Jack Wheeling MD., 85, of Ebensburg, died April 2, 2007 at home. Born August 28, 1921, in Windber. Preceded in death by his parents John Francis Reese and wife Genevieve Wheeling Clark. Survived by loving wife of 48 years, Elaine M. Reese and children; Alan Reese, Maryland; William Reese, Washington; Robert Reese, Illinois; Jack Wheeling Reese Jr., Pennsylvania and Jacqueline Reese, Texas. Also survied by 6 granchildren and extended family through marriage. Jack was a former surgeon at Miners Hospital in Hastings PA, and graduate of MIT and Harvard Medical School. A WWII veteran having served in the 70th Infantry Division, Member V.F.W and Coalport Lodge # 574 F.& A.M.
Friends will be received from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 pm.
