Stoyka - Frank J., 81, of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, and formerly of Colver, died April 5, 2007 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, Mrytle Beach, South Carolina.
Born December 16, 1925 in Cambria Twp., son of the late Frank J. and Mary (Riskoe) Stoyka. Preceded in death by first wife, the former Carolyn Ann (Jones) Stoyka; brother Michael Stoyka; and sisters: Mary Ann Wolfe, Helen J. Wolfe, Nancy LaMar, and Christine Landeros. Survived by wife, the former Juanita (Crowe) Stoyka and children: Bryan (Julie) Stoyka and Curtis Stoyka, all of Florida; Lauren (Charles) Miller, of Hastings; step-sons: John (Laurel) Swauger, West Virginia; James and William (Christine) Swauger, both of Maryland; ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and sister Sylvia E. Stoyka of Colver. Frank was a retired tour bus driver for the Blue and White Bus Lines in Altoona. He had also been a self-employed farmer and truck driver. Member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Surfside.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 14th at 2:00 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in St. Benedict, Minister Tim Hupf, nephew of the deceased from Wisconsin, officiating.
