BEZEK - Lydia L., 85, died Monday, April 9, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Dec. 23, 1921, in Nanty Glo. Preceded in death by husband, Andrew J. Bezek Sr.; parents, Valentino and Eugenia (Bombassi) Buoite; and sisters, Helen Kovach, Mary Ciszek and Dina Woodling. Survived by son, Andrew, married to former Patricia Westrick, Johnstown; grandchildren, Jennifer Bezek, Pittsburgh; Joel Bezek, M.D., Johnstown; and Jill (Bezek) Cashdollar, and husband, Matthew, Johnstown; sisters, Pia Kovach, Twin Rocks, and Margaret Kupchella, Nanty Glo; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Nanty Glo, where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Fr. David Peles, celebrant. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo. Interment, St. Charles Cemetery, Twin Rocks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's School tuition fund.
