Obituary of Thomas W. Rose

ROSE - Thomas W. Jr. "Tommy," 19, Truman Boulevard, Johnstown, passed away April 9, 2007, at home. Born Aug. 6, 1987, in Johnstown, son of Lisa (Herndon) Davis and Thomas W. "Thom" Rose Sr. Survived by mother, Lisa, and husband, Clair Davis, Johnstown; father, Thomas "Thom," and wife, Cyndi, Boswell R.D.; daughter, Destiney Jade Latocha, Gallitzin; maternal grandparents, Louise Herndon, Johnstown, and Frederick "Bucky" Herndon, Johnstown; paternal grandmother, Lillian Rose, Johnstown; and brothers and sisters, Justin (Heather) Ray, Johnstown; Levi (Georgette) Rose, Davidsville; Rebecca (Tom) Plows, Salix; and Regina (Jimmy) Weingart, Johnstown. Also survived by great- aunt, Flo (Steve) Olexa, Nanty Glo, and friends and family. Tommy was a 2005 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School and had attended the Cambria-Rowe Business College. He was employed at Memorial Medical Center in the environmental services department. Tommy was an avid video game fanatic. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Dr. Frank Brosius officiating. Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Johnstown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tommy's family.
