STRENKO - Henry R., 75, Ebensburg, died April 10, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center. Born in September 1931, in Nanty Glo, son of the late Frank and Clara (Crawford) Strenko. Preceded in death by brother, Joseph Parkins. Survived by wife, Rose (Serluco) Strenko, Ebensburg; children, Sandra A. Dixon, Ebensburg, and Richard, married to the former Patricia Trisoline; grandchildren, Ross W. Dixon II, Jaime Swope, Kristy Brown and Brian Strenko; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Taylor; and sister, Jane Parkins Swanson. Worked in the Bethlehem mines for 35 years. Henry was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener. Loyal Pirates and Steelers fan. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where Liturgical Wake service will be held Thursday. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, the Rev. Father David Peles. Interment, Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg.
