Obituary of Luella Jean Kovash

KOVASH - Luella Jean (Coleman), 69, Pittsburgh, formerly of Ebensburg, peacefully passed away April 24, 2007, in Pittsburgh. Born Oct. 26, 1937, in Vintondale, daughter of George and Esther (Hopfer) Coleman. Preceded in death by parents; beloved husband, Frank; and these sisters and brothers, Leona, Doris, Jerry, Alfred, Lenny and Pete. Precious mother of Helen Jean (Kovash), wife of George G. Smith; Frank Kovash; Steve Kovash, married to the former Lisa Alexander; Renee Lynn (Kovash) Short; and Scottie Lewis, and wife, Rhonda; grandchildren, Jennifer McDade, Tamara Lynn Stamper, J.T. Stamper, Brenton Kovash, Cynthia Kovash, Hannah Kovash, Breanna Lewis and Gavin Lewis; great-grandchildren, Shayne McDade, Alexis McDade, Gelicia Manor and Nijier Manor; 42 nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Sister of Mary Ann Stiles, and husband, Harry, and Rose Marie Hoffman, and late husband, Charles. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Matevish & Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake service will be held Friday evening. Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Msgr. Arnold L. Gaus. Committal, Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg.
