YASKOWITZ - Sally, 86, Revloc, died July 12, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 8, 1921, in Puritan, daughter of Anthony and Agnes (Chrzyczk) Mastaler. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Louis and Francis; sister, Anastasia DeMaio; and grandson, Michael. Survived by husband, Henry; children, Larue Yaskowitz, Randallstown, Md.; Pamela, wife of Terry Lort, Lancaster; and Sally, wife of Robert Shook, Ebensburg; and grandchildren, Nicole Lort, Tanya Shook, and Dr. Ryan Shook, and wife, Dr. Brittney Shook. Sister of Anne Rzeszut, Portage. A devoted member of the former Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and Altar and Rosary Society and a devoted member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg. Active member of a bowling league and was an avid reader. Sally will be remembered for her unselfish sacrifices when it came to helping her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mom and grandmother. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake service will be held Sunday evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Monsignor Arnold L. Gaus. Committal, Holy Name Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to support the charitable efforts in Haiti, c/o Holy Name Church, 500 N. Julian St., Ebensburg, in Sally's memory.
