Obituary of Jessie L. Mervine

MERVINE - Jessie L. (Clark), 75, Strongstown, died Sept. 30, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 20, 1928, in Twin Rocks, daughter of the late John and Irene (Carranza) Clark. Preceded in death by brothers, Ken and Jack; sisters, Mabel and Dolly; and grandson, Jeffrey Mervine. Survived by loving husband of 59 years, Clair; children, Kenneth, and wife Janet; Robert, and wife Mary Ann; and Gloria Olsavsky, and husband Dennis. She was a loving grandmother to her eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, George, and wife Nancy; and sister, Anita Trinkley, and husband Patrick. She was a devoted member of the Belsano United Methodist Church for 62 years. She currently loved attending services at the Strongstown Methodist Church, where the Rev. Tom Budner held services. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Tom Budner. Interment to follow at Spruce Grove Cemetery, Penn Run. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Strongstown Methodist Church.
