DULASHAW - EDWARD T., 85, of Hollidaysburg, formerly of Ebensburg, passed away October 12, 2007 at home. Born February 23, 1922 in Windber, son of the late Frank and Anna (Hlatky) Dulashaw. Preceded in death by wife Florence, daughter Pamela Safko, brothers Paul and Frederick ,and sisters Anna Grosik and Agnes Buckus. Survived by daughter Georgine (Brady) Safko-Dodson, of Hollidaysburg. Grandsons Simon, Collin and Michael. and great grandson Jacob. Brothers, George(Donna)of Mineral Point; Joseph and Thomas(Connie), both of Nanty Glo; and sisters Ethel (Ernest) Seaman, Nanty Glo and Mary (Philip) Manculich, of Chicora; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona and formerly Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg. Retired in 1978 from BethEnergy Mines. Member UMWA. WW II Army Veteran. Member Ebensburg American Legion and VFW Post 4963 and Nanty Glo Council Knights of Columbus. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where vigil prayer service will be held that evening. Funeral Mass 9:30 am Monday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Msgr. Arnold L. Gaus, celebrant. Committal at Holy Name Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations in Ed's memory may be made to Home Nursing Agency Hospice, Altoona.
