DeRUBIS - Gregory Sr., 55, Revloc, died Oct. 12, 2007, in Cambria Township. Born July 24, 1952, in Johnstown, son of Marco Sr. and Della (DeSabatino) DeRubis. Preceded in death by father and brother, Donald. Survived by mother, Ebensburg; children, Gregory Jr. and Nicholas, both of Pittsburgh; and a brother, Marco Jr., and wife, Donna DeRubis, Ebensburg; also nieces and nephew, Michele Pawlowski, Leigh Ann Sidone, Angelia DeRubis and Brian DeRubis. Formerly employed at Beth Energy and Consol Mines. Member of UMWA. Friends received from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Monsignor Arnold L. Gaus. Committal, Calvary Cemetery, Altoona. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Revloc Fire Company in Greg's memory.
