WESS - Brad J.,16, of New Germany, Our beloved treasured son went home with the Lord October 19th, 2007 as a result of an auto accident. He was greeted by his maternal grandfather Leroy J. Wirfel, paternal grandfather David C. Wess, and cousin Joel J. Wirfel. Brad leaves behind his broken hearted family, friends and loved ones who will be forever honored to have had this amazing young man to know and love for the short time the Lord loaned him to us. Born January 26, 1991 in Johnstown, son of David J. and Karen R. (Wirfel) Wess, He leaves his proud parents Dave & Karen, loving older brother Steven D., and adoring younger sister Karissa R. all at home. Also his maternal grandmother, Leona (Morris) Wirfel, paternal grandmother Barbara (Bakale) Wess, and his wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins: Kathy Wirfel and husband Ron Wess, and there son Ryan; Jack and Lisa (Radebach) Wirfel, and children Courtney, Jamie, Jon & Heath; Brenda Wirfel and children Deanna Bopp, Nicki and Denton Lester, and Stacey Bopp; Margie Wirfel and husband Terry Gongloff and their children Mark and Kristi; Lisa Wess and husband Dennis Pegden and children Wes, Whitney, Kelsey, and Calder; Den and Liz (Castillo) Wess and children Brian, Jill, and Mark; and Doug and Linda (Dumm) Wess, and children Emma Paige and Jon; and so many wonderful and numerous friends. Brad was a Junior at Forest Hills High School where he was a high honors student. He planned to study a career in engineering upon his graduation. Brad loved trips to the family camp, hunting and fishing, snowboarding, water skiing,mastering his flip on the wake board, knee board water battles, and riding his motorcycle, 4-wheeler and snowmobile. He also loved an intense game of texas holdem' with his many friends. A member of the Forest Hills Varsity Hockey Team, Laurel Run Rod & Gun Club, 321 Kinzua Trail Riders, and Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. Family and Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, New Germany, Rev. Fr. Alfred Patterson, O.S.B., celebrant. Committal at church cemetery.
