WILLIAMSON - Glenn Martin, 83, of Ebensburg, passed away October 21, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center. Born December 14, 1923 in Holsopple, son of the late Charles and Edna (Hentz) Williamson. Preceded in death by brothers: Charles, Dan, Donald & Clair; and sister Doris. Survived by wife, the former Sara Haney, to whom he was married 63 years and children: Donald "Ivy", of Ebensburg; James and Jack, both of Florida; Timothy, of Belsano, and Ashley Dziabo, of Cresson; and grandchildren: Heather, Danea & Devon; James, Jennifer & Blendora; Jeffrey, Charles, Michael & Evan Williamson and great-grandchildren: Zachary, Rachel, and Olivia Williamson. Brother of Rita Neago, Ohio; David Williamson, Apollo and Gary Williamson of South Carolina. Glenn was the president and founder of Central Cambria Drilling Company, a former board member of the Association of Bituminous Coal Contractors and a World War II Army veteran and prisoner of war. During his military career, he received many achievements and was the recipient of the Bronze Star. A member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mundy's Corner; Post 4963 VFW and Post 363 American Legion, both of Ebensburg. Glenn was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. Family and Friends will be received from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Rev. Lynn Miller, officiating. Entombment at Richland Mausoleum. Graveside military ritual will be offered by the Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team and local veterans organizations. In lieu of flowers, donations in Glenn's memory may be made to the Ebensburg - Cambria Free Public Library, or to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall Project.
