Shandor - Helen, 87 of Caroline Manor, formerly of Plank Road, Vintondale, died October 8, 2006 at the manor. Born October 15, 1918 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Patrick) Dulick. Preceded in death by stepmother, Sue Patrick, husband, Joseph Shandor, Sr.; infant son; grandson, Mark Shandor; sisters Mary Simonetti and Delores Zukosky, brother John P. Dulick, and fianceý Joseph Wartko. Survived by children: Joseph Shandor of Clinton Twp., Michigan; Larry, married to the former Diane Charenisky, Woodbridge, Virginia; James, married to the former Georgette Shaffer, Nanty Glo; and Rosemary, wife of Jacob Windemaker, of Elizabethville. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; and sister Agnes DiNicola, of Altoona. Helen was a member of SS. Timothy & Mark Roman Catholic Chapel, Vintondale and had been retired from the Ebensburg State School. Friends will be received from 3-6 p.m., Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where a vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Thursday at SS. Timothy & Mark Chapel, Vintondale, the Rev. Fr. James H. Conrad, STL, celebrant. Committal at Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg.
