Obituary of Beth Pegg

PEGG - Beth, 56, of New Cumberland, passed away November 29, 2007 at Harrisburg Hospital. Born February 2, 1951 in Johnstown, daughter of Margaret Pryce Larimer and the late Claude Frederick Larimer. Survived by her mother, her husband Curtis L. Pegg, daughter Diana Beth Pegg, sisters: Ann Makin of Ebensburg and Susan Medellin, of Harrisburg. Beth was a 1977 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and a former Daisy and Brownie Troop Leader. She was a member of the former GFWC, New Cumberland, York County 4-H Leader where she served as Treasurer of Echoing Hoof Beats as well as the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown Alumni Association. She was a horse show Mom. She graduated from Greater Johnston High School and was a member of the high school band and had taught at Westmont Elementary School. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland and from 10:00 a.m., until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at the Ebensburg First United Church of Christ (Congregational), the Rev. William C. Thwing, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of the Arrisburg Area, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, Pa. 17111. Local funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
