LANTZY - Jean, 81, Indiana, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at the home of her daughter. Born Sept. 12, 1926, in Ebensburg, she was the daughter of Gwilym and Margaret Bruce Roberts. Mrs. Lantzy was a member of First Assembly of God Church and also was a member of the Eastern Star and Golden Keenagers. She had served as program chairwoman for the Farm Women Association, Ebensburg Chapter. Friends described her as an outstanding woman who was easy to like. Surviving are her daughter, Carol Gittings, Indian; son, Brent M. Lantzy, and wife, Cindy, Ebensburg; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Carl A. Lantzy; and son, Scott. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church, 2707 West Pike Road, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VNA/Hospice, 850 Hospital Road, Indiana, Pa. 15701. Arrangements by John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana.
