McHenry - Martha Winifred Winnie , 92, of Brookline Manor & Retirement Village, Mifflintown, and formerly of Eighth Street, Colver, passed away peacefully January 3, 2008 at the Manor. Born January 26, 1915 in Greenwich, daughter of the late William and Clementine (Davis) Craft. Preceded in death by husband Charles William Bill McHenry in 1990, brothers: Dwight, Don and Richard Craft, and sisters: Lois Price and Doris Loranz. Survived by only son: William Charles Bill McHenry, married to the former Janet Evans, of Newport; and grandchildren: William, David, Thomas, and Robert McHenry in Newport, and Leigh Ann Simmons, of Harrisburg. Also survived 12 great-grandchildren and by her brother William Craft, of Erie. Longtime member of the Colver Presbyterian Church where she was active in the Woman's Circle and a volunteer in the church kitchen. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. on Saturday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, and from 1:30 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Colver Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Dr. Stanley Bhasker, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers, donations in Winnie s memory may be made to the Colver Presbyterian Church.
