VIVIS - Lorene "Gram", 80, Nanty Glo, passed away Jan. 29, 2008, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Jan. 13, 1928, in Belsano, daughter of the late Ward and Olive (Bracken) Rummel. Preceded in death by first husband, Amelio Ardini. Survived by husband of 40 years, Robert E. Vivis, and children: William (Marylou) Ardini, Nanty Glo; Joseph (Theresa) Ardini, Ebensburg; Richard (Evelyn) Ardini, Revloc; and Laurie (Fred) Hill, Nanty Glo; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Also survived by half sister, Carol (Mike) Kuzilla, Nanty Glo, and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Women of the Moose, Nanty Glo. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. David S. Peles, officiating. Interment, St. Charles Cemetery, Twin Rocks. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gram's memory may be made to The Joyce Murtha Breast Cancer Center or The John Murtha Cancer Center.
