CHIESA - Ermina, 99, Colver, died Jan. 30, 2008, at Conemaugh Hospital. Born Dec. 14, 1908, in Parma, Italy, daughter of Tranquello and Maria Sozzi. Preceded in death by parents and husband, Joseph. Last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by these children: Tony, married to former Roberta Hart, Ithaca, N.Y.; Bruno, married to former Patricia Shaffer, Camp Hill; and Mary, wife of Thomas Griffith, Ebensburg; grandchildren, Linda Rhoads, Diane Chiesa, Maria Weik, Gregory Chiesa, Rebecca Griffith, Kara Fair and Michele Griffith; and great-grandchildren, Matthew and Andrew Rhoads, Lauren and Garrett Weik and Olivia Griffith. Former member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Colver. Friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake services will be held Friday. Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Msgr. Arnold L. Gaus. Committal, Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg.
