NIMMO-WICZKOWSKI - Ruth V., (Buterbaugh), 91, Warrenton, Va., formerly of Revloc, died Jan. 29, 2008, in Warrenton. Born June 29, 1916, in Emeigh, daughter of Harley Ira and Emma Zoe (Bostic) Buterbaugh. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, James Nimmo, in 1938; second husband, Michael Wiczkowski, in 1977; son, David Nimmo, in 1996; and brothers, Quay and Kenneth. Survived by son, James Nimmo, Warrenton; grandchildren, Bruce Nimmo, Valerie Weathers, Janet Doughenbaugh, Kathy Acurio and Suzanne Kania; and great-grandchildren, Raymond Boter, Kathryn Weathers, Colin Weathers and Kassaundra Kania. Sister of Shirley Mallin, Ebensburg, and Elwood, Coldwater, Mich. It was necessary that Ruth leave school at a young age to help at home. In her mid 40's she went back to school and obtained her GED and then proceeded to go to school and obtain a certification in nursing. She worked 14 years as a vocational nurse. Member of First Christian Church, Ebensburg. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Dr. Francis Brosius. Committal, Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg.
