DePeter- Anita Marie, 70, Sunset House-Ebensburg Center, formerly of the Polk and Altoona Centers, died peacefully February 11, 2008 after an extended illness. She was born July 25, 1937, in Riddlesburg. Despite numerous infirmities Anita was widely known as a happy, enthusiastic person. She is survived by family members in the Lancaster and Six Mile Run areas of the State. She enjoyed spending time with friends, community outings, finger painting, listening to music, and picnics. Anita lived a happy and supported life and truly was an inspiration to all those who knew her. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m., Friday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg, until the time of funeral service at 3:15 p.m., the Rev. Emig, Center Chaplain, officiating. An additional service is being planned by the family for the Saxon, PA area prior to her interment at her mother's gravesite in Hopewell, PA.
