ZIMMER – Joshua, 25, of Lilly, passed away November 14, 2019 at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, after a long battle with Leukemia.  Born October 15, 1994 in Johnstown, son of Jennifer (Ruzzi) Cook and Adam Zimmer.  Preceded in death by maternal grandfather Donald Ruzzi.  Survived by his mother, Jen, of Lilly;  father Adam and step-mom Jessie Zimmer;  half-sister Rayni and step-brother Kaleb, all of Morrisdale;  maternal grandmother Emilie Trueman, Ebensburg; and paternal grandparents Nancy Everhart and Gerald Zimmer, of Johnstown.  Also survived by numerous aunts, uncle, and cousins.  Diagnosed when he was only twelve, he loved dogs; he also was an avid sports fan.  He enjoyed season tickets with the Johnstown Tomahawks Hockey, attending Phoenix Pro Wrestling; and watching his beloved Baltimore Ravens, Pirate Baseball and Penguin Hockey.  Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.  All family and friends are welcome to “come as you are” and wear your favorite sports jersey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Josh’s memory to the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation, One Children's Hospital Drive, Central Plant, Floor 3; 4401 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15224  givetochildrens.org
