BORING – Margaret "Peggy", 77, of Strongstown, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 6, 2019. Born July 19, 1942 in Bakerton, daughter of the late Francis and Mary Frederick. Preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Gary; and grandson, David S. George. Survived by husband, of 56 years, Donald H. Boring; and daughters, Bonnie (fiancé Ray Filler) Boring; and Donna (Ernest A., Jr.) George. Grandson, Donald L. (Ann) Boring; and great grandson, Jack.  Also survived by one brother; four sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret had a love bigger than life for her daughters, grandsons and great grandson. She loved to play bingo, go on gambling trips; and giving everything she could to make others happy. Margaret was retired from Walmart Super Center of Indiana, PA. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at noon on Monday, the Rev. Leonard Voytek, officiating. Interment, Pineland Cemetery, Strongstown.
