Obituary of James Brian Bernard

BERNARD -  James  Brian, 61, of Hastings, passed away December 10, 2020 at home.  Born November 10, 1959 in Spangler, son of William J. Sr. and Helen (Waksmunski) Bernard.  Preceded in death by parents and sister, Michele.  Brian is survived by brothers William J. Bernard Jr. (Patricia) and Robert M. Bernard (Linda) both of Hastings; nieces: Jenna Cooper (Nathan), Vanessa Houser (John Paul), Kristin Burrows (William), Shaina Bernard, and Alexandria Patil (Shawn); four great-nephews, 2 great-nieces, and many friends.  Brian was an active member of the Hastings VFW, Hastings Moose, Hastings Fireman’s Club and loyal Steelers fan.  Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private Funeral Mass will be held at the convenience of the family.  Interment at St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Hastings.  Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
