KIM – Kenneth, 39, of Ebensburg passed away December 23, 2020.  Born September 20, 1981 in Johnstown, son of Paul & Esther (Koss) Kim.  Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, George and Esther Koss;  paternal grandparents, George and Elma Kim; and sister Sheila M. (Kim) Cobb.  Survived by parents of Ebensburg, brothers:  Paul Jr. (Abi) Kim, Red Lion, Pa.;  Daniel (Beth) Kim, Ebensburg;  Bryan Kim, Miami, and Jeremiah (Amy) Kim, Ebensburg.  Also survived by brother-in-law Tony Cobb, Delaware; several nieces and nephews, including special local nieces: Madison, Mikalah, Mekenna, and Morissa Kim.  Ken served as finance manager at the Stuckey Automotive Group.  An Iraq War veteran having served two tours in the US Marine Corps.  He was a member of the Ebensburg Post 363 American Legion.  He was also a retired corrections officer at SCI Somerset, where he served as a Critical Incident Manager.    Ken loved to play golf, was a three-time corn hole champion, a ruthless pinochle player and excelled at trivia, especially movie trivia.  Though active in work and hobbies, his best role was of being an amazing son, brother and friend and an awesome uncle to his local nieces.   Friends will be received from 4 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where a private service will be held at the convenience of the family,  Rev. Josh Koss, cousin, officiating.  Interment at  Lloyd Cemetery.
