KUBAT - Edith Marie (Noel), 76, of Ebensburg, passed away Dec. 31, 2007 at home. Born April 26, 1931 in White Twp., daughter of the late Michael and Minnie (Rickard) Noel. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph P. Kubat; and brothers, George, Lawrence, Raymond, Edward, and Lewis Noel. Survived by children, Ann (Bernard) Svidergol, Ebensburg; Joseph (Virginia James) Kubat, Nanty Glo; and James (Tami Lopinsky) Kubat, Ebensburg. 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Sister of Mike (Norma) Noel, Patton; Gilbert (Carol) Noel, Florida and Teresa (Ron) Wagner, Fallentimber. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and sisters in law, Carmen Noel, Flinton; Etta Noel, Pittsburgh and Ida Noel, Patton. Attended Sts. Timothy & Mark Catholic Church, Twin Rocks, where she was a member of the choir. Edith was also an avid Steelers fan. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass 11am on Thursday at Sts. Timothy & Mark Church, the Rev. James H.Conrad, S.T.L., celebrant. Committal, St. Charles Cemetery.
