Obituary of Margaret A. Margic

MARGIC – Margaret A.  “Maggie” (Burrows), 79, of Ebensburg, passed away July 28, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center.  Born January 31, 1942 in Johnstown, daughter of the late William J. and Madeline (Motter) Burrows.  Preceded in death by husband Frank S. “Dude” Margic, Sr.;  daughter Joyce Margic-Keith; son, Frank S. “Frankie” Margic Jr.; brother Robert Burrows and sisters, June Tuite and Billie Sturey.  Survived by daughter, Courtney (Brent) Schmidt, of Johnstown, grandson Brent; sister Eileen Lehman, nephews: Larry Lehman, Bill Tuite, and Roger Burrows; niece Susan Sturey, and special friends Peg Buchan, Ray Mack, and Amy (Waugh) McCoy.  Margaret was a 1960 graduate of Franklin High School, she retired as a claims analyst for the Social Security Administration.  She enjoyed making quilts and sewing, and had been a 4-H leader for over 30 years. She will be long remembered as a person who would take care of everyone.  A special thank you is extended to the caring staff at Conemaugh ICU.  A graveside Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 6^th at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery Chapel, Pastor Luke Breeze, officiating.  Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
