Obituary of Larry J. Colangelo

COLANGELO – Larry J., 62, of Vintondale, went to be with the Lord, Sept. 1, 2021. Born Feb. 18, 1959 in Vintondale, son of the late Arnold and Dora Colangelo. Survived by his wife, Sue, of 42 years; children, Missy (Darrell) Fertick; Jesse (Kelly) Colangelo; Emily (Matt) Gresko; Deanna (Josh) Whipkey; and Chastity (Robert) Corson. 19 grandchildren and one great grandson. Also survived by sister, Loretta (Anthony) Hugar; brother, Mark (Tish) Colangelo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Owner/ Operator of L & J Oil Field Services. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing with his grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo. Private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery, Johnstown.
