Obituary of Mary V. Teeter

TEETER – Mary V., 92, of Jackson Twp., passed away Sept. 3, 2021 at Cambridge Ebensburg. Born Oct. 24, 1928 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Frank and Violet (Bowers) Fitz. Preceded in death by husband, Everett C. Teeter, Jr.; and brothers, Virgil Fitz and Jack Augustine. Survived by children, Suzanne (Francis) Kerchenske; and Richard (Susan) Teeter. Grandchildren, Jodi, Matthew, Michael and Rachel. Great Grandchildren, Emily, Logan, Allie, Liam, Lucas, Abbie, Nash and Van. Very special sisters in law, LaVerne Younker and Carol Holabeck. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother; and was an avid NASCAR fan.  A heartfelt thank you to the staff of Cambridge Ebensburg and Penn Hospice for all their care, love and support. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 9th at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Pastor Geno Bartoletti, officiating.  Interment, Pike Brethren Cemetery, Mundys Corner.
