Obituary of Terry "TC" Zack

ZACK – Terry L., “TC”, 23, of East Taylor Twp., died September 6, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. Born February 9, 1998, the son of Terry Zack, Sr. and preceded in death by mother, Sally Pikowsky. Survived by family members, Geraldine Mardis; Nancy and Ken Fisher; Mary and Phillip Mardis; Pam and Ken Rieg; Mark Mardis; Karan and Bill Nealen; and preceded in death by Arleen and Dale Smith. Cousins, Michael, Danny, Will, Zachary, Breann, Isaac, Nikole, John, Aaron, Anna, Keona, Bryce, Tyler and Michelle; and preceded in death by Merale “AJ”. Loving staff members, Eric, Pete, Kalob, Rebecca, Michel “Babbs”, Big Bree, Little Bree, Sara, Linsey, Andrea, Jennie Lynn, Laurel, and countless others, including extended family. TC was a very loving and eccentric individual who attended Northwestern Human Services of Altoona and was a graduate of Pressley Ridge School for Autism of Johnstown, who provided him with intense support through life challenges. TC's most important interests were that of guitars, music, art, and heavy equipment. His favorite music artist was Josh Gallagher, as he called himself Josh’s number one fan. He attended many concerts, collecting memorabilia and using his signed guitar. Some of TC’s favorite joys were eating chinese, drinking caramel frappes, scouring the tri-county area, and volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul in Johnstown. Most importantly, we all are grateful for the life we have shared with TC, as one’s we love will not go away, but stay in our hearts every day. TC taught us that time is precious and to be grateful for the time you spend with those you love. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Pastor Geno Bartoletti, officiating.
