Obituary of Jane Ann Allison

ALLISON – Jane Ann (Davis) 77, of Nanty Glo, passed away September 12, 2021 at Windber Hospice.  Born October 24, 1943 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Willis C. and Betty Jean (Evans) Davis.  Preceded in death by nephew, Mark Straw.  Survived by husband Thomas Wayne Allison, to whom she shared almost 57 years of marriage; Son, Thomas Wade (Linda) Allison, and grandsons: Justin (Olivia) and Jason (Holly) Allison.  Sister of Shirley Straw and Willis P. (Roxann) Davis, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Jane attended Central Cambria High School and was an active member of the Ebensburg First Christian Church.  She was employed as a pharmacy technician for Rite Aid Pharmacy, Ebensburg.  Jane enjoyed quilting, bowling and spending time with family and friends.  Friends will be received from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Pastor Dwayne Kaufman, officiating.  Interment at Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Jane’s memory may be made to the Ebensburg First Christian Church or to the Dauntless Fire Co.
