GREENE – James W., 77, of Jackson Twp., passed away Sept. 14, 2021 at home. Born Jan. 6, 1944 in Twin Rocks, son of the late Estay and Sara Greene. Preceded in death by sisters, Judy Greene and Rosella Cook; and brother, John. Survived by wife, Debra, to whom he was married for 50 years; children, Jamie (Rich) Clawson; Calman (Christine) Greene; and Ryan (Christine) Greene. Grandchildren, Julianna, Faith and Ethan. Also survived by brothers, Estay (Mary Ann) Greene; and Rick Greene. Sisters, Susan (Larry) Heilos; and Joyce Ray; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim enjoyed bowling and was an avid hunter and fisherman. US Army veteran. Retired paint sprayer with General Motors for 33 years. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Pastor Bill Warrick, officiating.
