PALOVICH – Nicholas, Jr., 86, of Twin Rocks, passed away peacefully October 5, 2021. Born June 15, 1935 in Vintondale, son of the late Nicholas and Helen Palovich. Preceded in death by wife, Mary Louise; son, George Doliveira; and sisters, Rebecca, Debby; and Sheila. Survived by children, Nicholas III (Michelle) Palovich; John Doliveira; Patricia Dugan; and Ann (Roger) Doliveira Shaffer. Brothers, Michael, Stephen, and Roger. Sisters, Naomi and Cindy. Grandchildren, Brad, Jamie, Meghan, Shannon, Jonathan, Taylor, Tara, Hailey, Loran, Brittney, Nicholas, Andrew and Angelina. Four great grandchildren. Nick was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed. Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where Parastas will be held that evening. Panachida will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home, followed by interment services at Holy Ascension Orthodox Cemetery, Nanty Glo, the Rev. Dr. Robert Oravetz.
