Obituary of Donald Gene Lewis

LEWIS – Donald Gene, 76, of Ebensburg, passed away October 22, 2021 at UPMC, Altoona. Born January 1, 1945 in Indiana County, son of the late Arthur L. and Dorothy M. (Roof) Lewis. Preceded in death by both parents and a brother-in-law Tim Beschler. Survived by brothers and sisters: David (Linda) Lewis, Cattaraugus, New York; Alvie R. (Lisa) Lewis, Arlene (William) McKim, Shirley A. (George) Gelesh, and Brenda Beschler, all of Ebensburg, and Stacey M. Lewis, Harrisburg. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Don was retired from Dietrich Industries, Blairsville. He attended Ebensburg First Baptist Church and was a U.S Army veteran. A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don’s memory may be made to American Heart Association or your local Hospice.  Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
