Obituary of Irvin Lee Jr. "Bud" Miller

MILLER – Irvin Lee, Jr. “Bud”, 75, of Vintondale went to be with the Lord Oct. 28, 2021 at home. Born July 7, 1946 in Johnstown, son of the late Irvin Lee, Sr. and Mary Etta Miller. Preceded in death by infant daughter, Melissa; and a sister. Survived by wife, of 52 years, the former Donna Rummel; daughters, Stacey (William) Weaver; Diane (John) Sheesley; Shari Ritchey; and Marcia (Timothy) Good. 12 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bud was a US Army veteran and a retired coal miner. He enjoyed hunting and loved spending time with his family, which meant the world to him. Bud will be sadly missed by his family and all of his loyal friends. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, the Rev. Becky Edwards, officiating. Interment, Blacklick United Methodist Cemetery, Vintondale. Military rite by Nanty Glo, Twin Rocks and Vintondale Veterans Ritual Team.
