Obituary of Joseph John, Jr. Gresko

GRESKO – Joseph John, Jr., “Joe”, 90 of Vintondale, passed peacefully on Oct. 31, 2021. Born August 25, 1931 in Indiana, PA., son of the late Joseph and Annie (Sopko) Gresko.  Last surviving member of his immediate family. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Member of the former Sts. Timothy & Mark Chapel, Vintondale. Sergeant in the USAF, having served in the Korean War. Member of Vintondale VFW and American Legion Post 12, Sommerville, NJ., Member Senior Citizens Club, Vintondale Homecoming, and Firemans Club. Formerly on the Board of Directors of Blacklick Valley Community Association. Member L.O.O.M., Lodge, NJ. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, the Rev. Wesley Mash, officiating. Interment, St. Charles Cemetery, Twin Rocks. Military rite by Nanty Glo, Twin Rocks and Vintondale Veterans Ritual Team, of which Joe was always an active member.
