LISCOMB – Douglas J., 46 of Ebensburg, passed away November 14, 2021 at home.  Born July 23, 1975 in Selma, Alabama, son of Paul D. and Audrey (Bruce) Liscomb.  Preceded in death by father, maternal grandparents George R. and Anna Marie Bruce;  paternal grandparents Paul and Betty Liscomb;  aunt, Lynn F. Mikula and uncle Daniel Woods.  Survived by mother Audrey (Bruce) Liscomb, Ebensburg; uncles:  Gregory O. (Patricia) Bruce, North Wales, Pa.; Ronald R. (Chris) Bruce, Orwigsburg, Pa.; David Liscomb, Dekalb, TX.;  aunts: Jeanette M. Quigley, Dunmore, Pa. and Marian J. Bruce, Hollywood, Florida.  Also survived by 18 cousins, with whom he always had a special bond.  A graduate of Bishop Carroll High School, and attained a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  Doug loved playing basketball, the beach, water sports, playing with his cat “Clair” and playing golf with his uncles and friends.  Doug had a love and talent for music, he enjoyed composing songs and playing his guitar.  Friends will be received from 12:00 noon on Thursday, November 18th at Holy Name Church Narthex, followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m., Fr. Brian Warchola and Msgr. David Lockard, con-celebrants.  Interment at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Loretto.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cambria County Suicide Prevention Task Force, in conjunction with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in  Western Pennsylvania, (www.afsp.org/johnstown)
